KDP guides
Reference material for publishing on Amazon KDP. Every dimension and cost on these pages is computed from KDP's own published rates, not transcribed — so when KDP changes a figure, these pages change with it.
Trim size guide
16 sizes
Every trim size in KDP's standard catalog: what each one is for, whether it prints on the standard or large cost table, what a book costs at real page counts, and the exact cover dimensions you need.
KDP printing costs
8 marketplace groups
How KDP's fixed-plus-per-page cost model works, and what it comes to in each currency zone — with the royalty bands and price floors that follow from it.
AI content disclosure
KDP's AI question, explained
What KDP's AI-generated-content question actually asks, the difference between AI-generated and AI-assisted under its published definitions, and why answering honestly does not hurt your listing.
Margins and gutter
5 page-count bands
KDP's published minimum margins, and the part that catches people out: the gutter is set by your final page count, so widening it can push the book into the next band.

A+ content character limits
17 modules
Every A+ module's text fields and image slots with their real limits — and, for each number, whether KDP publishes it or it is a Seller Central figure nobody has published for KDP.
Why these pages exist
KDP publishes its rates across a dozen help pages, in tables that require you to already know which one applies to your book. These guides do the lookup: pick your trim size or your marketplace, and the figures that govern your book are on one page, worked through with real numbers rather than left as a formula.
If you want to try your own numbers instead, the cover calculator and royalty calculator run the same maths interactively, and the KDP glossary defines the terms these pages use.
