Why keyword density matters for KDP

Your book's title, subtitle, description, and 7 backend keyword fields are how Amazon's search decides what your book is about. If your description repeats the wrong words (or never mentions the words shoppers actually search), you're invisible to searches you should be ranking for.

What is this actually useful for on KDP?

Two things: a quick visual gut-check of what your description or manuscript intro is actually about (the word cloud), and a keyword frequency/density table that surfaces 2- and 3-word phrases worth trying in your book's 7 backend-keyword fields or your title/subtitle.

Does this send my text anywhere?

No — everything runs client-side in your browser. Your text is never uploaded, and the word cloud is rendered directly onto a canvas element on your device.

Why are some common words missing from the cloud?

By default, common words ("the", "and", "of"...) are excluded so the cloud reflects actual content — toggle "Exclude common words" off in Options if you want them included.

Why did some of my words not appear in the cloud?

The word cloud packs words into a fixed canvas without overlaps — if you asked for more words than can fit at a readable size, the lowest-frequency ones are dropped (a note under the cloud tells you when this happens). The keyword density table below it always shows every word or phrase, regardless of what fit in the image.

What's the difference between single words and phrases in the density table?

Single-word density tells you what your text repeats most. The 2- and 3-word phrase tabs build n-grams from your text and are a closer match to how KDP's backend-keyword fields and real buyer search queries actually work — most searches aren't one word.

Do I need an account to use this?

No — no login, no watermark, no limit on how many times you regenerate.
