Why the module size matters
A+ Content Manager takes one image per slot and each slot has its own shape. Upload the wrong aspect and KDP crops it; upload under the minimum and it is refused; upload over 2 MB and it is refused too. Template packs sold as "five 970×600 images" get exactly one of the seventeen modules right. This tool knows all of them.
The output is conformed, not just resized: cropped or padded to the slot's shape, resampled to the exact pixels, flattened to RGB, encoded as PNG when that fits under the cap and as JPEG when it does not, then checked by re-reading its own header before you ever see a download button.

Frequently asked questions
What size does an A+ Content image have to be?
It depends on the module. KDP publishes minimums for some — the Company Logo is 600×180, the Image & Text Overlay is 970×300 (1940×600 recommended), Three Images & Text wants 300×300 each, the Comparison Chart 150×300 per column — and the rest are the figures Seller Central's editor enforces. The picker names each module the way KDP's form does and says which kind of figure it is.
Why export at the "recommended" size instead of the minimum?
Amazon shows A+ images on high-density screens, where a minimum-size image is scaled up and looks soft. Twice the minimum (1940×600 for the overlay module) is what KDP itself recommends for the header, and it stays under the 2 MB cap for almost any photograph.
What are KDP's file rules for A+ images?
JPG or PNG, RGB colour (CMYK is rejected), each file under 2 MB, no animation, and text that stays readable on a phone. This tool guarantees the first four: the output is always the exact pixel size, RGB, PNG or JPEG, and under the cap — it tries PNG first and falls back to JPEG, lowering quality only as far as the cap requires, and tells you when it did.
Does it upscale a small image?
It will enlarge a source by up to 2× and say so, because an image slightly under a module's size is a common case and a small enlargement is invisible. Past 2× it refuses: enlarging that far invents detail, and a soft A+ image is one of the rejection reasons Amazon names.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Decoding, resizing and compressing all happen in your browser in a background thread. There is no account, no server, and no copy of your image anywhere but your device.
