This licence covers the files in a Publish-Ready Bundle — the interiors, cover templates, answer keys, checklists and certificates you download after buying one. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
The short version: the books are yours to publish and sell. The files are not yours to sell as files.
What you may do
When you buy a bundle, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to:
- Publish the books commercially, under your own name or imprint. On Amazon KDP, on IngramSpark, on Lulu, on Barnes & Noble Press, on your own site, anywhere you like.
- Keep every penny. We take no royalty, no cut, and no ongoing fee. You paid once.
- Edit anything. Change the title, the trim size, the interior, the order of the puzzles, the cover. Add pages, remove pages, split one book into two.
- Publish in any format — paperback, hardcover, ebook, PDF, printable — and in any number of separate titles.
- Publish as many copies as you sell. There is no print run limit and no revenue ceiling.
This licence does not expire, and it survives the end of any SmartKDP subscription. If you cancel your account, the books you already published stay published.
What you may not do
- Do not resell or redistribute the files themselves. You may not sell, license, share, or give away the bundle — or any individual file in it — as a digital product, a template pack, a resource for other publishers, or part of a course or membership. The line is: sell the book you published, not the files you were given.
- Do not resell it as a licence. You may not grant anyone else the rights this licence grants you, including as "PLR", "resell rights", "commercial use rights", or any similar packaging.
- Do not claim you created the puzzles. You may publish under your own name — that is the point of the bundle — but you may not represent yourself as the author of the generation software or sell the puzzle content as an original creative work by you where that statement would be material.
- Do not upload the files to a stock, template, or asset marketplace, whether free or paid.
- One licence, one publisher. The licence is granted to the buying account. It does not extend to a client, an agency's other clients, or a team you distribute the raw files to. If you publish on behalf of clients, buy a bundle per client or ask us about a broader licence.
What we promise about the files
- The interiors are print-ready as supplied. Each passes our KDP preflight — correct trim, bleed and gutter for the stated page count, embedded fonts we hold the rights to embed, and the minimum interior font size.
- Every puzzle has a verified answer key, generated from the same puzzle it answers rather than typed separately.
- The word content is licensed for commercial distribution. Every word list we draw from is public domain, MIT-licensed, or written by us.
- The fonts are licensed for commercial embedding. All are SIL Open Font License, which permits embedding in a document you sell.
What the uniqueness certificate does and does not say
Each book ships with a certificate. Read it — it states its own limits, and they are real:
- It compares puzzles for identical content. A puzzle that is another one rotated, mirrored, or with its symbols relabelled is not detected.
- It covers this book and every other Publish-Ready Bundle we have produced. It says nothing about books published by anyone else, because we cannot see them.
So: no puzzle in your bundle repeats inside its own book, and none repeats across any bundle we have ever sold to anyone. That is a real guarantee and no other done-for-you seller makes it. It is not, and does not claim to be, a statement that no similar puzzle exists anywhere in the world.
Amazon is not a party to this
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Amazon. KDP sets its own content and quality policies and can change them, and can reject or remove any title for reasons outside anything we check. You are the publisher: your account, your listing, your responsibility. Our preflight is assistance, not a guarantee of acceptance.
If Amazon rejects an interior for a fault in the file we supplied, tell us — that is a fault, and the Refund Policy covers it whenever you notice.
Refunds
Before you download, you can change your mind within 7 days for any reason. Once you download a file, the purchase is no longer refundable except for faults or where a statutory right applies. The full detail is in the Refund Policy.
If this licence ends
We may terminate this licence only if you breach it — in practice, if you resell the files. Termination stops your right to publish new titles from the bundle. It does not require you to unpublish books already on sale, and it does not entitle us to any revenue you earned.
