KDP A+ Content Template Maker
Pick one of KDP's 17 A+ modules, drop an image, type the copy, and download the slot at its exact pixel size — every field counted against the module's own limit and checked against the rules KDP publishes. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
1. The module
Target 1940×600 px, RGB, under 2 MB. KDP publishes this module's minimum.
2. The layout
Your image never leaves this device. The module is composed and encoded here in your browser — no upload, no account, and no copy on our servers.
3. The copy
4. The module at its exact pixels

Why a 970×600 template pack is not enough
970×600 is the sheet the modules are laid out on, not the size of the images inside them. The Company Logo slot is 600×180. The Image & Text Overlay header is 970×300, and KDP recommends exporting it at 1940×600 so it stays sharp on a high-density screen. Three Images & Text wants 300×300 each. A pack sold as "five 970×600 templates" gets exactly one of the seventeen modules right, and the rest are cropped or refused on upload.
Every size on this page comes from the same catalog our A+ Content Designer uses, and every one of them says where the number came from — because KDP publishes some of these minimums and not others, and a tool that hides the difference is guessing on your behalf.
What this checks, and what it does not
The copy checks here are the rules KDP publishes: the field limits, promotional and time-sensitive language, contact details and links, customer reviews and star ratings, guarantees and shipping claims, Amazon's own brand names, comparisons to other books, and alt text that describes nothing. They run as you type, in your browser.
They are a subset. The deep check — the rejection causes authors actually hit, the text baked into your images read back off the rendered pixels, mobile legibility, the safe zones, the endorsement and award rules — runs in the Book Studio A+ Content Designer over the whole package. A conforming file is not an approval — Amazon reviews A+ content by hand. Amazon usually answers within seven business days, and the clock we show ends on the eighth.
Building all five from your book
This page makes one image. The Book StudioA+ Content Designer starts from a pack — nine finished layouts prefilled from the book you are publishing, its cover, its interior pages, its listing copy and its brand colours — then checks the whole package, previews the detail page beside your own gallery, and packages the images, a copy sheet in KDP's form order, a checklist and a manifest in upload order.

Frequently asked questions
What is an A+ Content template, exactly?
A+ Content Manager gives you a fixed set of modules — 17 of them on the Basic plan KDP authors get — and each one has its own image slots at their own pixel sizes and its own text fields with their own character limits. A “template” is a layout that already fits one of those shapes. This tool builds one module at a time to the real numbers rather than to a 970×600 rectangle that only fits one of the seventeen.
How many A+ modules can a KDP book have?
KDP's A+ Content allows five modules from the Basic set per submission. Seller Central's A+ allows seven modules per submission — an unverified figure, and not available on the KDP path. Brand Story is a Seller Central feature too. Requires Brand Registry through Seller Central. Not available on the KDP path.
What are the character limits for each field?
They vary by module and by field, and KDP publishes only some of them. Every counter on this page says where its number comes from: “KDP says” for a figure KDP publishes, “provisional (Seller Central figure)” for one that is Seller Central's and widely circulated but never published for KDP. The full table is in the character-limits guide.
Does the image get uploaded anywhere?
No. Decoding, composition and encoding all happen in your browser. There is no account, no server round-trip, and no copy of your image anywhere but your device — the export never sends a request body.
Will this get my A+ content approved?
No tool can promise that, and any that does is selling you something. This checks the rules KDP publishes — the field limits, the prohibited language, the alt text. Every image is at the module's exact pixel size, in RGB, under KDP's 2 MB cap, and every text field is inside its limit. A conforming file is not an approval — Amazon reviews A+ content by hand.
How is this different from the A+ Content Designer?
This page builds one module from an image you already have. The Book Studio A+ Content Designer builds all five from the book itself — its cover, its interior pages, its listing copy and its brand colours — runs the deep lint over every rejection cause we know of, previews the detail page on desktop and mobile, and packages the images, a copy sheet and a checklist in KDP's upload order.
