A per-megabyte charge deducted from ebook royalties on the 70% plan, based on the converted file's size. The 35% plan carries no delivery fee.

On the 70% royalty plan Amazon deducts a delivery cost proportional to the size of your converted ebook file. Text-only books are tiny and the fee is negligible; image-heavy books can be large enough that the deduction is material.

This creates a real crossover point. For a big illustrated ebook, 70% minus a substantial delivery fee can be worth less than a flat 35% with no fee, and the only way to know is to compute both at your actual file size.

KDP does not publish per-megabyte rates for every marketplace — Poland and Sweden are not covered on the public help page — so any tool that quotes a figure for those two is guessing. We show them as unavailable instead.
