The number beside each row and under each column tells you how many squares in that line are covered by ships, and ships never touch, not even at a corner. How to play
- Read the fleet key above the grid: one 4-square ship, two of length 3, three of length 2, and four single-square submarines.
- Use the numbers to the right of each row and under each column as the exact ship-square count for that line.
- Treat the already-inked circles and ship ends as given; extend or isolate them according to the no-touch rule.
- Ships may sit horizontally or vertically, never diagonally, and two ships may not share an edge or a corner.
- Mark proven water as you go — a 0 row or column is empty ocean, which immediately constrains the ships around it.
Print at 100% scale on letter or A4 so the row and column counts stay next to the 10x10.
