Amazon's standardised page count for Kindle Unlimited payouts, calculated from the ebook's content rather than its device-dependent screen pages.
An ebook has no fixed number of pages — change the font size and the page count changes. Since Kindle Unlimited pays per page read, Amazon needs a page unit that does not move, and KENP is it: a normalised count derived from the book's own content at a standard setting.
Your KENP count is usually higher than your print page count, sometimes substantially, and it is computed by Amazon after upload rather than declared by you. Formatting choices affect it, which has produced a long history of authors trying to inflate it artificially — something KDP's content guidelines explicitly treat as manipulation.
For low-content books this matters less than it sounds, because puzzle and activity books rarely make sense as Kindle Unlimited titles in the first place.
